So, up until two days ago I have been working on fleshing out Binhawkins' JJprise he made a while back, but I got bored and saw OmegaGame's Sovereign Hull, which is more than twice the size of any Sovereign class currently on the dock so... I said why the hell not:

Just gonna say this now, this is a WIP and i started yesterday so don't criticize it in it's current state :)

I'm enjoying the look of the lighting, nicely played along the hull.

[Update: 8/30/16- Just finished most of smoothening the hull, and started laying out floors for future decks. with the current 4 block spaces between, there should be 15 decks total.]

The date should be 8/31, not 9/31, since you posted that on August 31st, not September 31st...

Oh and just to clarify, this is the one from First contact/Insurrection so don't complain about the nacelles :)

[Update: 9/4/16- I added "windows" on the saucer, though eventually i might put in crew quarters with real "windows". Also a window on the bridge.]

[doublepost=1473012224,1473010258][/doublepost][Update: 9/4/16 Part 2- I did a complete rework of the deflector so it actually looks like well... a deflector.

There should be a way to make it more smooth.

if planar sections would be twice as wide as wedged separations, it would look more natural.
But I guess it is too late in the building progress to consider this.

Just to give you guys a sense of scale...

The one on the left is the sovereign refit I did a while back.

Update: 9/7/16- I'm done with about 90% of hull detailing, just need to add the pods on the outer part of the saucer. next update should be the start of interior/systems. :)

[Update: 9/8/16: The Interior Begins...] So, I have decided I want to go with a mostly schematic-accurate interior, though some areas will have to be condensed as there are 15 decks instead of 24-29? Well on to the work itself, I have done the two bottom-most decks (14 and 15) and they are the antimatter storage tanks.

By the way that center bit is actually part of a future warp core ejection system.
Keep watching to see more progress :)

[doublepost=1473379984,1473379850][/doublepost]^ Oh and I also installed a photon torpedo launcher in the foremost part of deck 14, which you can see here:

[Update: 9/8/16: Part II- Made some modifications to the tank room, namely a chamber in the back middle, with a 2x2 door that will hopefully someday become a jeffries tube. ^And it's also the room where Riker beat up Ron Perlman :)
