Soundless on Arch Linux

I downloaded and installed Star-Made and everything was running smoothly. Then I found out I should have sound. I turned up the volume, tested my speakers, and triple-checked that they were not muted, but I still couldn't get sound. Am I an idiot or is this a bug?

How did you get it running? I have yet to be able to successfully launch under arch linux.

What java-runtime are you using? Oracle or OpenJDK? 32bit or 64bit?

You might need lib-32 packages to get the sound working. Try installing these packages: lib32-alsa-plugins lib32-libpulse lib32-openal

I got the sound by installing openal. To get Java, I used OpenJDK. 64 bit would be your best option for games written in Java.
