Something I learned about the new power system

In the newest piece of news they introduced these blocks which direct the new beam the reactor gives off to the stabilizer. These node blocks are very finnicky. If you have a chain of nodes meant to redirect the beam, they must be connect to both the node closer to the stabilizer and the node closer to the reactor, except for the 2 endpoint nodes, which only need to be connected to the node next in the chain.

i.e.

(reactor) - A - B - C - D - (Stabilizer)

A-D are nodes, A only needs to be connected to B, D only needs to be connected to C. B and C are connected to eachother, and B is cross connected to A, and C is cross connected to D.

Tbh all these extra additions are just trying to patch up a broken system.
They don't prevent long ships and add nothing to gameplay except some ugly tubes that kill your power if they get hit.

It's similar to connecting buttons or activation logic chain. Except the first and last of the chain are already connected to the system.

I know how they connect normally but I don't understand how Energywelder put it together.

I actually can't, i figured these things out, but i can't figure out screenshots. let me train explaining it this way.

A,B,C, and D, are nodes.
c A, v B
c B, v C
c C, v D
c D, v C
c C, v B
c B, v A

like links in a chain they must be connected both ways.

um, mostly, except the R would be next to D, not next to A

You use C to start a connection and V to set it. Start by pressing C on node A then V on node B. Afterwards, repeat for B to C and so on. You can get by with just two nodes if you want.

As .200.334, this is no longer true, single stream connection now works, R>A>B>C>D>S, you have no idea how frustrated I was getting when I thought the old system was still in place and trying to arrange my streams.
