How much time are you able to commit to being on the council per week? Time Allotment:
Council specific activities - 1 hour daily M-F (after 5pm EST)
Forum interaction - 1 hour daily M-F (between 9 am to 5pm EST)
In-Game – 2 hours daily M-F (between 6 to 9pm EST)
20 hours total
My wife and I are expecting a baby girl beginning of May. Besides time away for delivery there would no disruption. I currently log around 30 hours Starmade time a week. Besides babies don’t get around all that much the first 6 months anyway.
How long have you been playing StarMade? 24+ months
What’s your playstyle in StarMade? Hardcore survival with a desire for Faction galactic domination
What are some qualities you think you posses that would make you a good council member? I am “Grumpy Old Man” gamer (get off my LAWN!!)
I have beta tested many many game games
I am a Solutions Architect in software development
What are some of your weaknesses? Not a huge fan of PvP
I tend to be too rational at times; this dampens random leaps of creativity
Bottom line… this is a game. If it stops being fun I will walk away.
What motivates you to become a council member? I love StarMade and I want to see good things become of it.
I understand both side of the development process, the needs of the Gamer and the challenges of a developer.
How do you contribute to the community currently? I read the forum daily.
Provide answers or insight as possible.
Play the game with testing foremost in mind.
Assist new players on server with information and assistance.
