EDIT: IMPORTANT - I've been getting some fan made ships coming in in support of this thread, asking if they can be a part of this fleet. And I've decided that yes, anybody that wants to submit a ship here can certainly do so. However, there are rules
RULES FOR FAN-SUBMISSIONS
-The ships must be halfway decent.
-The ships must be MLP themed in some form or fashion
-The ships must have HMS as the prefix to their names, if they are larger than corvette class.
-They must be submitted with an imgur gallery of pictures, and must include a download link.
-You must have fun making it :D
I'm not strict. Anybody that cares enough to make a ship for this thread is probably going to get a mention. I'm not going to crush any hopes if i can help it.

Greetings, and Welcome! Long have the denizens of equestria been forced to stay on their small planet, when always they have looked to the stars. But finally, after millions of years of progress, They have succeeded at becoming an interstellar force, with a mighty fleet of ships at their command.
The Equestrian fleet is varied, and powerful, focusing on a seamless blend of form and function.

HMS Celestia:
Description: A Titan Class superdestroyer, the Flagship of the Equestrian navy is a formidable sight, a sword hanging amongst the heavens, and named after the eldest sister of the Equestrian Ruling family. Armed with 30 turrets, planet cracking rockets, an ultraheavy AM cannon, and two SD-BB swarm missile pods, she's a force to be reckoned with. She's nimble for her size, and is capable of docking small craft in the rear shuttle bays. This massive, elegant vessel is the pride of the Equestrian fleet

HMS Luna's Shadow:
Description: The HMS Luna's Shadow is the second largest ship flying in Equestrian space. This Titan class Supercarrier has superior weaponry, though lacks missiles, and houses 20 Shadowbolt Fighters when fully garrisoned. Able to be equipped with a staggering 46 turrets, She's a mobile fortress, capable of holding her own against fleets of smaller craft with her heavy sheilding, and the staunch defenders that fill her crew quarters.

Shadowbolt Fighter
Description: The Shadowbolt is a nimble, and versatile craft. Currently sporting twin AM cannons, this nimble and heavily defended fighter is engineered to fit in the hangarbays of the larger Titan class ships of the Equestrian fleet. Sporting heavy sheilding for it's class, these fighters are wasps that the enemy is sure to have a hard time swatting.

HMS Twilight
This Dreadnaught class Science vessel serves a very specific purpose in the Equestrian Fleet. Built as a long range reconnaissance vessel, this sleek ship is meant for diplomatic missions, and exploration. Housing areas for long term habitation, this ship has a spacious and lush interior, that is bristling with samples of plants and minerals from across the galaxy. Housing two extreme environment bio domes for training, a large greenhouse for food cultivation, cryopods for extended sleep, and a laboratory area for testing, the Twilight sets out with one goal: To survey planets for future habitation. To find a new world that the Equestrians can call home. Heavily sheilded, but lacking weapons for direct confrontation, the Twilight is meant to get out of dodge fast if trouble comes knocking. She is equipped with four tractor beams, for both asteroid sampling, and salvaging decrepit vessels. She also houses the extraordinary Magi-Cannon, a dumb fire weapon meant for drilling to the core of a planet for study. She's an elegant jewel of science and knowledge, a valuable asset to the Royal Equestrian Fleet.

HMS Shining Armor
The Shining Armor is a Battleship class Escort, made to accompany other, less combat capable ships into dangerous situations. Armed to the Hypercoil thrusters, he's a versatile vessel, capable of carrying two large turrets, and surprisingly nimble for his size. Sporting a vast arsenal of AM cannons, he also carries two separate computers for his lock-on torpedoes, allowing two targets to be fired on in rapid succession, or two missiles to be released at the same target extremely quickly! Sporting his unique downswept wing design, his profile cuts down on subspace wake, leading to faster warp speeds. He's made to save the less fortunate in a hurry.

HMS Honesty
Sometimes, you need the right tool for the job. Sometimes, that job is mining pesky asteroids, salvaging pirate space stations.... Cracking planets. And for that job, there isn't a ship better than Honesty. I'm not muddying the issue with fancy mathematics here, this ship is equipped with 64 high speed Tractor beams, as well as a cargo container that utilizes experimental black hole compression technology, allowing the Honesty to hold entire PLANETS in her cargo bay. On top of that, she's equipped with twin lock on missile arrays, for taking out pirates and other pesky raiders. She's heavily armored, heavily sheilded, and HEAVY. Though she may have some get up and go, she turns like a barge, considering she is one. That's why she comes standard with turret position, right on top. Ready to harvest more than an acre or two, this salvaging Vessel is built to take on the world - as a carry on.

HMS Loyalty
Sometimes, you need to think fast. As in, really fast. That, my friends, is when the HMS Loyalty becomes your best friend. This bomber class corvette comes with a varied array of AM cannons, and enough thrust to make even the fastest daredevil dizzy. Sure to leave a technicolor haze in your enemy's eyes, the HMS Loyalty is the prime choice for smaller ships in the Royal Equestrian Fleet

Found out during construction that shielded turrets require power to charge shields. They don't draw power from the main ship to recharge shields. This was originally intended to be a fighter craft, but what can you do?

A massive behemoth of a ship, this mobile fortress has a rather unusual purpose: Relaxation. More in the imgur link.

Shadowbolt 2.0
Improvements to the classic Shadowbolt have been made by one of our top engineers, Xeltosh, giving it more protection, and faster movement. Sadly, this also resulted in greater girth, rendering it unable to fit in the hangar bays of the Luna's Shadow.
