My friend just installed starmade from steam and whenever he launches the game it loads to 46%, freezes and then crashes showing the error message "ResourceException: HUD CONFIG FAILED TO PARSE".
does anyone know how this can be fixed?
For a start, your friend can upload their logfiles to the thread.
For a second, they or you can open up the logfile and scroll to the end to see exactly what errors are thrown up.
For a third, they can run dxdiag, HWM, or any other program that lists out hardware and driver versions to see if the computer can even run the game to begin with.
