Repulse Module Warning

    I've been constructing a titan on and off for a few years, the performance has slowed down as I crept up towards the 500k mark but over the last three days it's come to a virtual standstill.

    Long story short I started taking the ship apart block by block and I eventually discovered that Repulse Modules, while they look incredible, are absolute performance-slayers. I took out the ones I used as decoration and my frames jumped tenfold.

    Something to keep a look out for.

    They also dont seem to respect center of mass and instead treat the ship core as the center of mass, so putting them on a ship where the core is in the front results in the nose of the craft being pinned to the ground with the engines in the air.

    In general, they need lots of work.

    Really, damn.
    I was using them to replace decorative thrusters because of integrity issues...
    Now I need another replacement.

    I use turret docks or the lighted side of girders for a lot now, if you need that little splash of color that repulse modules have.

    How do repulsors work? I place them on my ships and they do nothing

    you have to allocate thrust to them on the thrust management menu in order for them to work. I havent messed with them in awhile, did they increase the power of the repulse? I only got them to work when most of my ship was made up of thrusters.

    hmm so you need thrusters on your ship for repulsors to work?
