Overheating thrusters

Is it possible to set it up to be able to overheat your thrusters for more power, at the cost of damaging them?
Just curious if anyones ever tried this or made a mod for it.

No, you can't do this. And for future reference this game does not have true mods yet, only custom blocks and changing the skins of UI elements

If it was a feature you'd know. You should make a suggestion about it.

I feel this would tie into the suggestions of being able to distribute power between subsystems I have seen a few times on the old forums
