It seems that almost every time I log in I am floating in space with no ship in sight. I have tried logging out inside a core, next to a ship, even on a planet. None of these options seems to stop my ship from mysteriously floating a couple sectors away. Sometimes its so far away that I cant even find it on the navigation screen. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?
My ship is gone!

When you diconnect a game make sure your ship is not moving at all, on a dedicated server thiscan cause it to float away at whatever speed you disconnected at.
