messed up on ship building

So i built a ship. i was working on it for like 5 hours. and i find out that i have been building it the wrong way. the core is now pointing towards the back. is there a wat to chang the direction of the core without turning the whole ship?

Cockpits only face the same direction as the core as well, that wouldn\'t fix it.

Perhaps if you did something with AI turrets mounted inside the ship
