Long story short, how does one do the docking

I'm building a space station to house my republic Actis class interceptors and from the last time i've been on, there used to be a different method of docking things XD How do you use the docking rails and stuff to make a dock big enough for my ship. If you want the ship download I think it's on the 7th to 8th page of the download page

You don't need docking enhancers anymore, the ship just has to fit physically. Use Rail Basics on your station and Rail Dockers under your ships. You might need rail mass enhancers if you want to move ships on rails, though.
