Do we have a template compilation thread? And if not, can we have one? I find that finding templates is really hard to do.

If you have any logic templates post them here and I will put them on this list. Please put a title and a description, like so:

    Code:
    [B]Title:[/B] -
    [B]Description:[/B] -
    [B]Link:[/B] -

    LOGIC TEMPLATE COMPILATION

    Automatic Door (Trigger Area)
Description: Opens the assigned door with the assigned trigger areas for some seconds and closes it again. Works for both block and rail doors.
Link: Logic needed to automate a door

Counting Docked Drones with 7 segment display.
    Description:
    Link:
Counting Docked Drones with 7 segment display.

    Display Module Command Template
Description: Input Computer and Command Panel templates for setting up issuing commands to control logic
    Link: Display Module Commands

    Display Module Factory Controller
Description: - Input Module and Factory Control Module with slaving capabilities, full control of system from singular display module
Link: - Display Module Command Factory Controller

    Skippable Display Module
Description: Logic needed to connect to a Display Module with a Button that will skip pages.
Link: Logic needed for skippable Display Module pages (w/ Screenshots)

Ive got a couple good ones, namely some neat logical storage and rail simplification circuits.

I cant access them until a few hours from now though.

    Logic Only?: Yes.

Was just gonna tell you that I can't find them when you edited the post, haha. Sure man, just send them to me later and I'll add them.

Yeah I'm going to have a few, haha. Especially with the new display module updates that came out ;)

Oh, shit just got real. Bench is in the house :D Looking forward what you come up with! Specially in the future where Display Modules hopefully won't lose their content when copypasted.

Title: - Instant Pulse Shift Register
Description: - Template for an expandable, bi-directional shift register

I'm real sorry but I can't add those to this list because they are blueprints and not actual templates. :(

ooh, I see, you wanted the copy / pasting type of thing. Only issue is that to use complex logic, it helps to understand it.

Oh boy, jaw dropping stuff.
I wonder if I can fathom how this works, but I'm sure gonna try. :D

It's pretty easy if you go slow at first. I prefer to build at least a bread board version first, before I give a circuit to someone. You can see all the wires, and it helps you figure out how to build better things with it. Also easier to work on :p
I guess for this thread I'll have to make a template version, and link to the bread boards on its page.

And display commands are the same way. If you google what you want the regexp to do, you can usually find a solution. Bench's circuit offers a lot of features, adding logic that makes it easier on the user, but you can do a down and dirty version with much fewer blocks.

Hm, the base computer template seems to have a bug.
After entering any command it returns with the display default 'no data' and that's all it shows repeatedly on the front and on two displays on the back, the top middle and sub routine one. Must be something internally in the parts we can't see. ;)

I can answer that. In Bench's video, it says you need to initialize all the displays by hitting R on them and clicking "OK". The new display features don't work on templates without it.

Okay, thought hitting R was only for checking texts, Bench's audio is sometimes slightly confusing, but I'll try with pressing OK this time.
After having dinner though. Thanks for the tip. ;)
