When in advanced build mode, remove mode active, i can only remove max 2 10x10x10 blocks without moving the player. After that, i have to move up close to the next block to be removed. I don't know the exact range the game allows me to remove blocks, but it's somewhere between 11 and 15 blocks.
Removing blocks with "regular" build mode works at any range just like placing blocks in regular and advanced build mode.
Specs: Intel I7 4770k, 16 gig ram (starmade set to use 8), GF GTS450 1gig, Win7 64bit.
Tested with multipe other systems, all let me remove blocks at infinite range in any mode.
