Is there any way to severely limit (like 1 or fewer per system) station spawning? I know it can be done for shops, but I haven't seen a way to do so for other kinds of stations.

I personally like having a very sparsely populated universe, it increases the potential and importance of every station.

Here's an idea (literally just came up with it, like right now); Go to starmade\blueprints-stations\trading-guild(this path varies a bit, depending on whether you use Steam or not*) and add in a whole ton of your own blueprints. These blueprints should be some sort of self-destruct mechanism that was saved as a blueprint a few seconds before exploding. This way the game will grab your self-destructing blueprints sometimes and you'll end up with much cleaner star-systems!

If you're using Steam to play, you'll have to go to:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\StarMade\StarMade\blueprints-stations\trading-guild

If you're not playing via Steam look for the starmade folder you placed wherever you wanted and go to:
starmade\blueprints-stations\trading-guild(you should also go to \neutral and \pirate)

Interesting idea but logic doesn't usually activate on it's own. ;)

This is a valid idea, but the stations will only destroy themselves when their sector is loaded; given that you (as far as I remember) can't tell what a station is until you visit it, this would lead to some frustration for you (or your players, should this be used on a server). If you have the patience, and a small enough area to work with, you could go around forcing all of the stations to load, thereby filtering out all of the "blanks" before actually playing.

Another thing; If you don't mind running some operator commands, using /destroy_entity will delete any targeted entity and /destroy_entity_dock will remove turrets and such with it. :)

This is a great idea I haven't thought of! Thank you!
