Insane high ping

Right so me my cousin and my friend have tried hosting games using Hamachi, when i host my friend gets 60-70ms (lives 500 miles away). my cousin gets 1k-21kms (lives 2 miles away), when he hosts me and my friend get 300-1kms and it lags too soo much your ship just starts teleporting sectors. any idea on how to improve my connection to my cousin? some port opening perhaps?
