How do I create stations?

    Everywhere I go it tells me to press M to create as station, but that just opens up the map.

    Use P to create a station, X to spawn a ship.
    The keybinding lists are out of date (mostly, or it's just that key that's glitchy.)
    Other people have had this problem, FYI, I don't know why. If you're looking on the "official" StarMade Wikia page, DON'T. It's so out of date it's hilarious.
