So I've been working on this little gem for a while now. Kinda hard to get a lot done between work and an 8 month old.

The initial goal - A supercarrier class ship that can carry at least 90 fighters, and various support ships.

Where we are at right now:

52 Ares class heavy fighters dockable in main fighter bays. 2 runways with both entrances and exits. 24 more in a lower deck storage array. Can be manually piloted or ai controlled

    Stats:

283 mass, 549 thrust 55k shields, 39.9k power, 4240 dps 26 array AMCs, plus 4 323dmg BB missile arrays, and 2 317dmg DD missile arrays

6 Thanatos class Gunships dockable in lower hanger bay. Room for dual front turrets once chain-docking is enabled.

    Stats

517 mass, 1143 thrust, 144k shields, 177k power, 9207dps 12 array AMCs, plus 4 307damage BB missile arrays, and 2 335 damage DD missile arrays

2 Poseidan class Rescue vessels Dockable on upper hanger arrays. 5 med-beds, room for a crew of 7. Low loading dock for easy loading and unloading of patients. Bottom mounted breaching quad AMCs and pulse arrays (for when AMCs are directional). 8 repair beams, and 2 power supply beams pushing 85000e/s each.

    Stats

    Mass 237, Thrust 927, Shields 213k, Power 260k, with 329k e/s recharge

Additionally, there are 52 Cyclops drones, deployed from drone bays beneath the carrier. Currently these do not have stats as I am unsure that I am satisfied with the design. Basically they will be pure AI controlled AMC cannon holders.

The lower hanger bay features a small ship repair array utilizing a 53x25 footprint housing 659 repair arrays.

Defense comes in the form of Reaper, and HeavyReaper, Turruts. These are/will be placed at strategic hull locations to protect the ship and her crew. Additionally, energy drain turrets of undefined design will be spaced along the wings to huld smaller oponents captive while the turrets shred them. Other power supply and repair turrets will be used to aid allied craft in near space. The final line of defense will be the massive shield system. Currently at a capacity of 9.47 million with a 126k s/s recharge, engineers believe that they will be able to boost this to a capacity of over 11 million.

Offensively, the Hera class will be equipped with an extensive missile system, and a capital class energy drain system that currently pulls 180million e/s from enemy capital ships, killing their shields, engines and cannons completely. In addition to the fighter, gunships and drones, Anakita should be able to put out well in excess of a half-million damage/s, possibly as much as 1 million damage, with force projection across several sectors.

The power system in the Hera is designed with multiple redundancies. A power tank of 608.7 million is currently recharged at a rate of 11 million e/s. Extensive testing will be required to determine if this will be sufficient to supply all of her systems requirements during all-out combat

There are currently 80 furnished basic crews quarters, and 32 furnished family quarters. There will be two parks for relaxation and exercise, along with 2 large mess halls for feeding the hungry men and women who serve aboard this interstellar vessel.

26 Hermes-class escape pods serve to evacuate the crew in case of emergency. Hopefully, if the engineers have done thier job right, this won't ever be a problem. Then again, there is a legend of an ancient unsinkable titan that was felled by cold, merciless forces under cover of darkness. Luck favours the prepared. Gods willing, lady luck will be on our side.

Loving the way it looks right now! Keep up the good work, would love to see it completed. Are you going to cover up the exposed system blocks?

Definitely going to be doing a lot of covering. I won\'t have any exposed systems, and I\'m going to try to keep the hull interesting, instead of just flat planes everywhere. I\'m also planning on putting in Turret mounting pylons in the places that will have those, so that will be another bit of work.

I\'m trying to hide as many of the system blocks within the design, so there aren\'t any empty gaps anywhere that aren\'t part of the interior. So far I\'ve been successful, but things will likely get more crowded as the design gets fleshed out.

Work has been going steadily. However, with rumors of upcoming weapon design changes, the engineers have been loathe to implement any of the missile systems that are curremtly planned. Instead, the focus has been on fleshing out the core systems of this build. The weapon systems changes have also delayed the delivery of any more support craft, as these are awaiting any potential design changes.

The power reserves of 608 million were deemed to be insufficient for extended engagements and have been increased to 1 billion. The power supply system has also been boosted to 13.9 e/s million to match. This will probably be increased slightly through tuning to an even 14 million.

Shields have also been extended to 10.3 million, and are a continuing project of the onboard defensive systems engineering team, or as they like to refer to themselves - the \"OD-SET\". Recharge rate has been optimized to a current rate of 134k sh/s.

The hull is also coming along nicely. The fabrication teams have reworked several key sections, removing potentially weak edges, and replacing them with stronger, curved plates.

Here is a preview of the past week\'s work:

Currently there are two types of defensive turrets on the Anakita. These have been renamed to the Reaper3 and the Reaper6. Please note that all designs are currently under review and may be changed at any time without notice. All blueprints will be available on the official release date (to be determined).

The Reaper3 is on the outer ring of defense, providing 1000m range with 9753dps from 3 AMC arrays. Each cannon is equipped with onboard shielding (173k) and power (53k e/s), allowing them to run independently during combat. Anakita is currently scheduled to receive 16 of these.

The Reaper6 is a higher damage weapon, with slightly shorter range meant to take on heavier tanked ships. DPS is 16748 from 6 AMC arrays. Shields have also been increased to 243k, with power at 88k e/s. There are 8 Reaper6s planned for the Anakita.

    Very impressive design and details!

Does the cost of the ship still within the credit limit?

Due to a large amount of the interior space being used for fighter and gunship hangers, the price is currently at just under 800M. The Anakita uses regular hull exclusively for this reason.

When completed (slow going as I am currently working about 65 hours a week) the ship will not be filled with support craft, but will instead come with one example of each, so that the price is manageable.
