    Hoyz!! Got a few idea`s that would make a.i and fleet use much more interesting and involving.
    1st: Optimal engagement range for individual ships via a.i block input! Everyone has probribly built a ship by now with beam + missile system only to watch the ship orbit way beyond beam firing range, yet it still fires dat beam. This simple upgrade would allow builders to nip this issue pronto and begin to make fleet patterns for engagements with mixed weapon systems. Its my assumption this would be an easy tweak possible hot patch before "universe" updates begin, but im no epic programmer.

    2nd: Engagement Patterns! Above field mentioned could add Orbit, Fly by, Persuit, Ram, Retreat. This could use info from field 1 to add different flight dynamics to perticular builds and would really make fleet combats become more "up to par" with other space flight sim`s. Honestly, i really would like to see my stealth bomber do bombing runs one day, or that nasty warp inhib cruiser not orbiting but instead using its stop cannon turret and just creeping up inch by inch slowly stalking a dead fish in the water.. Yes an mining/hauling RUUUN option.

    3rd: A.i leadership tree! Alpha, beta, ceta, delta, epsilon... If givin a drop down menue to assign a leadership root system, then we could set our faction builds to act like they are suppose to. Not anything really fancy for now, just lower follows option higher. So 2 alpha`s will do there own thing, but if a "beta" is caught in combat near an "alpha" the beta would in theory stick close to the alpha (2 sectors er something). Have ceta follow beta and etc etc. This would allow escorts, backup calls, retreat-too`s, and possibly a.i remote repairing all on the fly? :D
    Im shure 2nd and 3rd suggestion is in the realm of the "universe" updates so theoreticly not implemented for a while.

    I would also like to see something similar happen to space stations for more tactical controll eg: retreat point, hidden complex, storage depot, population center, entertainment complex, open marketplace, containment facility, research outpost, (independant but vs newt n red) front line defence station, medical center, junk yard, repair station, diplomatic embacy, refugee camp, sporting megastructure.. to name a few. lol. In game associated to a faction block tactical station designations could get different map options via the new powergrid chamber bonuses to add some more spice! Even better, when universe updates roll around, availability to link user made missions/skins/textures/ships for engine event generations + stylization ease. This mixed with that might give universes serious "feels" to different area`s of space. Where as now its kinda jumbled up and verry random.

    More idea`s on a.i to come but i feel this is some essential foundational req`s before more. Thanks for reading, share any thoughts. 2k+ hrs into this game, just got back from a break and loving the power grid changes. Thanks everyone at shine/starmade devs, you are doing some epic work! Dont ever stop, one of the only games out there that show`s a players creativity for real! Much love <3 and a many creations to u too. :D

    I would love more functionality like this for fleets.
