Getting Power from Space Station on Turret

I'm making a space station with some turrets with shields on and one of the main problems is that the shields don't generate fast enough. The station only provides 1 e/s. Can I make it provide more without adding tanks or powers? Yes, the station makes much more than 1 e/s and it has leftovers. Also, turrets you make won't attack you if you made them, right? I'm trying to test the turret with myself.

Shielded turrets really need their own power supply. I know that AMCs can draw from station power but any turret I\'ve made with shield dispersers needed its own shield units and its own power source. You can set turrets to target neutral vessels but I\'d rather test them offline with spawned mobs of pirates.

EDIT: Someone informed me that stations can regen shields but you need more power units to increase the e/sec regen.
