Faction Territory Defenses you've seen or built?

For some reason I keep thinking people setup huge space guns on their boarders and just wait for some poor fool to come along and eat popcorn while watching them get blown out of the sky.

In any event show off some of the things you've run into or built as Faction Territory Defenses. Only reason I'm asking is because I want to see what I'm likely to get killed by before I get killed by it. :P

At the moment, nobody really uses more than just one sector for their homebase, and a few turrets on the homebase to keep away siege forces.

This might change if we get a faction overhaul.

We had more turrets back on Tartarus our homeworld.

The "Sentries" floating above and below were used as territoriality defence platforms.
Could also be used in a siege.
