Enterprise 1701-E - 1:1 (Approx)

So I was in the process of making the 1701-E in a mostly 1:1 scale, and its already over 947 blocks long and around 258 blocks wide.

Wrost content creator evar. Don\'t you know that when players \"need\" your work it means that the players think your work is amazing?

Obviously you need to work on your communication skills then, since you do not need it, you want it.

Secondly, because I want more complete responses does not make me a horrible content creator, it makes me less needy of your approval, and more interested in information about the design.

May i ask what the stucure atop of the saucer section in the last picture is? Your ship is looking awesome and I look forward to the release (hint hint :P)

Yeah I know the turbo lifts look funny, they are 4x4 by the number of floors they pass by, or high.

The whole ship is stupid huge... to walk across it takes forever, and since its a ship, I have no way of adding a moving platform to go up the turbo shafts.

I could release it as is, however, I am not sure what I am planning, there were a couple issues in manufacturing that caused some failures. :P

I just cant wait to see this complete, i keep meaning to build an akira class heavy cruiser, its just trying to find somewhere to start. may I recommend next time (if there is a next time) putting the core on the bridge where the helm would be, just for a little bit more of a canon feel

Hey, nice work.

I started work on a Prometheus-Class Advanced Escort the other day... it\'s not NEARLY going to be the size that your ship is (I\'ve only gotten halfway through the bridge section...). We ought to get together a bunch of Starmade-playing Trekkies and try to assemble as complete of a fleet as we can...

I would be willing to host for about 5 trekkies, and livestream it, howeverI think we should do an Akira, since the class overall is my favorite. The question from me is, what model should we follow? Meaning, if you look at the MMO of Startrek, there are models, and designs, and I think it would be cool to agree on one.

However, the schematics for an Akira class are a bit scarce, so I think we should agree on much of the design before we start building, and should we make it 1:1 or some other scale?

Also, if you look closely at my last picture in the original post, that model at about 5% done, has over 512k blocks, so that is something else that could be VERY taxing on the server....

The saucer looks beautiful; how did you calculate the proper curve?

For the turbolift, I wish the default dock size was smaller so we could just drive a small ship down a tube and \'dock\' it at various floors...Didn\'t realize the elevator things don\'t work in ships?

Well keep on it. As large as it is, at least it still looks playable. Hopefully someone actually finishes one of those borg cubes so you have something to break. I would love to see the Son\'a ship...Maybe I\'ll build it.

WOOW dude sorry that i putting it in this topic, Love this ship btw!, got nothing to critisize it, but you wanna build an akira class? that\'s like my nr.1 favorite starship, i would love to see a 1 to 1 build of it, im not good at the curves

I am getting back on my server to see how this thing builds after all the updates. I will post some pictures, as I had rebuilt the saucer section, and a few other parts to make the scale, and design more accurate.
