iHasTnt its work in progress .. i wanted to put up pictures of different states. I have no Pictures of the first stage.

1.Stage was a simple outline of the basic hull with grey blocks. Like a wire frame model.

    2. Stage is this now. Basic hull plating to close the ship and shape the outer form.

I do not know how other people build there ships .. so i thought i do document it a little bit to get feed back on it :)

Wow, looks awesome! I love tht 'empty' space in the middle, with the three tunnels/barrels.

From those new Pictures it is a bit frustrating to not see all the work done ;)
I had to redesign a bit of the top part, because had the measurements from the pictures wrong!
Both sets are Left Rear and Top.
8684 wedgie things in red later it look like that. B

    Todays Update:
    Started on detail work.
First added/changed blocks to make the typical (but not original!) striped pattern along the hull.
Then modeled the engines to look more like the one from the show.
Added a lot of tubing , tanks things, walkways and struds.
removed constiction lights (all those white dots are for better view while building !)
I think it is comming along nicely :)

You know there is an lighten key in the advanced build mode, so you dont need those light all over the ship.

I do know that ! .. and it is not always helpful because it overamplifies for me and i have problems to see wedges corners etc .properly ... !
But thanks for the answer :)

Continuing with details on the hull and a bit of lighting

Front view over the main guns to the reactor thing

Closer look through the area behind the guns

Front part view from the bottom

And a rear view of the Engines

I am mostly out of ideas what to do next on the outside ... the blurry pictures i found on the interwebs are no more help now ;)

the outside looks epic the only thing i can think of that you could do is add turrets to the outside, after that you just either fill her in with the weapons systems and other systems or add an interior and fill her in

@Farel17 - The Heavy Narn Cruiser doesn´t use Turrets. Only those two big laser cannons on the front and minelayers (which we do not have in the game). I am working on the interior now.

I will post pictures after i have a few rooms designed to show.

technicly you can have mine layers, you use a core, thruster puls computer and one pulse moduale with a bobby ai and cover the outside with disinigrators, they will just swarm the enemy ship and provide a good bit of damage and cannon fodder

Problem is that that would require a bigger ship!
I do not want to make it rely on switched docking behavior=off. And the minimum docking size would break the plan!
I can´t remember to have the cruiser deploy mines in the series .. so maybe on the outside under the rear hull ...

... yeah thanks for the tip .. will think about it!
