Dedicated Server Question.

So I tried poking around the Wiki/FAQ, but all I saw were instructions for a linux dedicated server. As it'd only be myself and one other person, at most, playing this, I'm not going to really consider renting a server.

Is it possible to set up, on windows, my own local server, or is that not the case? I just want to make sure so I know what I might be getting into.

You do need to open the ports as shown in this tutorial, the process depends on your router model etc.
