Choosing where to exit core

How do i choose where i stand when i exit my ship core? i had to delete my entire ship cuz i landed outside the ship whenever i would exit, how do i make so i end up inside the ship when exiting my core?

Space around the core.



I personally have mine floating in the middle of a 5 by 5 and 4 high room (I do build large ships).



However, it is still a frequent bug to get dumped 400-500 blocks away from my ship when I exit the ship.
