Bug Character in wrong location

I believe it happens only in gravity, but while playing with my buddy on any server, his character will appear to be 20-30 meters below/above where he is supposed to be. Once out of gravity he creepily navigates back up to the position he is supposed to be at. Its hard to interact with my pal or show him anything because I cant tell where he is.

I had this happen once on a personal server. It only happened that once, so I never thought much about it. When I saw it happen, he was on the edge of a planet plate, but he was only a few meters above where he actually was, not 20-30.

We see this regularly on the server I play on. Our solution is to sit down as that will force your character to appear where you actually are.
