Centering stuff in posts at the forum.

Can anybody help me with this?

I tried various approaches of centering stuff in my posts with various methods within html, but everytime I do so the html tags will go away when I got in preview mode, preventing me from centering the allignment of objects.

I really need to know this, as I'm about to make a server thread and I want it to look good :P

I want to mention that I couldn\'t find a button that would do this for me, and I\'ve seen threads with centered text.
