This thread showcases all ships built by the Calderon Naval Shipyard, previously supplied exclusively to the Calderon Republic's Fleet however will now supply ships to the Helkan Imperium.

    Lore

Before glory can be achieved, before empires can be forged in the voids of space, it all starts with the humble space vessel. Be it an industrial hauler or a mighty battleship, it is upon these mighty constructs that carry our hopes and dreams.

Since the emergence of the Calderon Republic the Calderon Naval Shipyard has been the corporation forging the mighty vessels used to achieve many goals. Today the CNS no longer supplies ships to the Calderon Republic, but instead the Helkan Imperium.

    Legend

The ships designed by the CNS have gone through many phases, these phases refereed to as generations. currently there are a total of 5 generations of ships thus far.

    1st Generation:
The first generation of Calderon ships were not known to many, as our beginning was humble, with the lack of resources and experienced ship builders, they were generally weakly armored and armed, however have also proven themselves in combat never the less.

    2nd Generation:
More known to the public this Generation of Calderon were built upon the collected experiences from first generation ships. Much more powerful and heavily armed these were the ships that brought the Calderon Republic it's first taste of battle and glory.

    3rd Generation:
Upon the new discovery of weapons, including Lasers and the technique of weapon combinations, the third generation saw a wide spread between successful and unsuccessful ship designs. Most of the third generation ships were prototypes that led to the forth generation.

    4th Generation:
The newest of Calderon ships, the new forth generation combines the lessons learnt from past generations and the skill of many of the best ship builders there are. Heavily armored and armed with the newest technology these ships are a force to be reckoned with.

    5th Generation:
After the downfall of the Calderon Republic, The CNS has revised it's design philosophies and now proudly supplies ships to the Helkan Imperium. Almost unrecognizable from previous CNS ships, this new line of ships are built to fill specific roles and field both prototype and main stream weapons.

    Ships

    1st Generation

    Venture Class Mining Frigate

( only picture of the venture left from the archives, this shows a Venture mining a planet. The blue circle is the Ion thruster positioned at rear of the venture)

This humble ship was the very first ship ever built by the CNS. Designed as a mining frigate and an anti pirate combat ship, it saw a wide range of deployments on many different operations, and helped pave way for the future of the CR.

    Venture MK II

Bolstering new turret technology the venture MK II carried out the same roles as it's predecessor but with greater efficiency.

    Nagata Class Cruiser

This was the very first war vessel forged by the CNS, and during its day served the Republic well in keeping its interests against other warring factions. It was heavily armed and shielded, however lacked armor due to standard hull being used in its construction. Notable ships of this class include the CRS Paranoia and the CRS Cataclysm who together have participated in many skirmishes before finally being destroyed on deployment against the forces of a rival faction named "Winney" on NASSZONE

    2nd Generation

    Absolution Class Cruiser

    -No Image available in archives-

The Absolution Class Cruiser was the work horse of the now well known Calderon Republic. In almost every deployment there was at least 1 Absolution class that was deployed. The Absolution at that time symbolized the Calderon Navy, which at that time enforced peace on NASSZONE, defending smaller factions so they may grow and develop. It was a vessel truly special to every member of the fleet at that time. Notable ships of this class include the CRS Neptune commandeered by Calderon Republic Admiral Cirdanorth.

    Resolution Class Cruiser Prototype

The Resolution Class Cruiser came as an attempt to improve on the Absolution Class, and although it carried Heavier weaponry and shielding at a cheaper price, due to bad core placement, it lacked the armor to withstand heavy weight fighting and was eventually deemed as a failure

    Calamity Class Battleship

Arguably one of the most powerful ships of its day, the Calamity required the combined effort of 6 builders 3 days to complete on a top secret server side dry dock known as the "solar dry dock" due to its close proximity to a sun. The project was spearheaded by Master Builder Kamika, and because of that some officers tend to spell the ship's name as Kalamity as a tribute to the Master Builder. The Calamity was deemed as "the might of the republic", seeing deployment as a siege platform and as a flagship in fleet engagements. It was nicknamed "the juggernaut" by CR Captains and often used as a motivation for recruits to climb the ranks in order to earn the right to fly one.

    Judgement Class Dreadnought

This was the top secret ship of the CR, planned by Master Builder Kamika and Overlord TwoNiner to set a new benchmark for all factions, It was never deployed. There has only ever been one of these ship classes ever spawned. rumor has it the vessel is still adrift in space, waiting to be found.

    Oar Class Drone Carrier

Developed after the 2nd Vaygr war the Oar class drone carrier was the CNS's first attempt at creating a ship that used drones as a main offense. The vessel was a success, and even saw deployment on Illusive after the great migration.

    3rd Generation

    Catalyst Class Corvette Standard Issue

After the great downfall and reemergence of the CR there saw a need for a new ship to carry out the roles once filled by the Venture Class Frigate. The CNS's answer to that was the Catalyst class corvette hull. Although the Catalyst hull had many different variants, the standard issue carried a small cannon array and a decent salvage laser array. With this ship sparked the new Calderon Republic.

    Condolence Class Frigate

This was the CNS's first trail at a drone of this size. The Condolence carried standard cannons and was used as an AI manned ship to defend against various threats.

    Absolution Class Cruiser

With the CR's return came the iconic Absolution's refit. Now instead of acting as a front line vessel it was deployed as a high damage support ship. For what it lacked shields in, it made up for with turrets and long range lasers along with high maneuverability. Although it would never again be field as the front line bruiser it once was it can still rarely be seen in certain Calderon Republic special operations deployments.

    Resolution Class Cruiser MK I

The Resolution MK I learnt from the mistakes of it predecessor and replaced the Absolution on the front lines. The ship saw multiple deployments against the Tartaran Empire, and although surviving most engagements Calderon Commanders were unsatisfied with it's performance on the field.

    Redemption Class Battlecruiser Prototype

The Redemption Class Battlecruiser hull was at developed as a test bed for new technologies, and although some were constructed on various servers, never saw actual deployment.

    Providence Class Cruiser

The Providence was developed as a result of the need for a tank oriented ship in the Calderon Fleet's new doctrines. It has seen several deployments during the one sided 1st fleet engagement against the Tartaran Empire, and was also used in multiple combat drills with CR's ally the Vaygr empire. the ship itself has proven to be able to withstand even the hardest of punishments.

    Recurrence Class Freighter

This frigate was designed as a combat capable freighter. It is used to carry large amounts of cargo while able to fend off against pirate attacks. Recurrences are usually seen escorted by larger warships on trade routes or doing blockade runs.

    Calamity Class Battleship

The Mighty Calamity was reborn, marked with combat stripes to differentiate between the old and new, It was refitted with new turrets, new weapons and improved Ion engines. This Juggernaut was once again ready for the heat of war. However, due to it's high cost, lack of mobility and bulk, It was and is only deployed at high value targets. If you see a Calamity kicking down your door, you know the Calderon Republic mean business.

    Resolution Class Cruiser MK II

Despite the failure of both its predecessors the CNS had never given up hope on the Cruiser hull. The result was a much more resistant, robust and hard hitting work horse that would prove itself against multiple opponents including Tartaran Empire warships. The Cruiser was repainted with different colors to signify the difference in versions. These colors would mark the CR's new coat of arms.

    Redemption Class Battlecruiser

The finalized version of the Redemption Class Battlecruiser served as a medium between the brute force of the Calamity and the maneuverability of the Resolution MK II. It has taken part in multiple deployments on Elwyn Eternity, most notably the Solar Empire Incursion.

    4th Generation

    Purifier Class Stealth Frigate

( purifier on the left with a fighter and a bomber flying as support )

The Purifier Class Stealth Frigate or Stealth Bomber is the revolutionary Calderon Republic frigate. Although most information is classified, at 5000 mass it has been recorded to take down ships 5-7 times it's own size. The purifier has seen numerous deployments, including many special operations missions.

    Dragoon Class Destroyer

Revolutionary in the amount of damage it has for it's size, this ship is capable of carrying the currently classified drones of the CR while bolstering heavy firepower. This ship was designed by Master Builder Chances Ghost to replace the Resolution MK II as the new front line fighting vessel of the Calderon Republic.

    Generation 5

This list will be updated with newly released ships that are allowed to be viewed by the public.

If you have a backup from 0.09 that isn't on the game folder you could make a 0.09 install and take a pic, but that would be a pain

Your company logo is much more creepy and evil-looking than your avatar. The fact that you wrote your name on a planet is testament to your evilness. Keep an eye on this one, lads.

Also, like the ships. Strong diesel punk feel.

Iconic picture of the second generation fleet leaving the NASS system, after which the great Calderon Republic split up in smaller entities.
From largest to smallest, 2 Kalamities, 5 Absolutions, 4 Pilgrims, 5 Legions, 8 Punishers and 3 squads of Arbalests.

Even in the Republic's darkest hour, their ships still emanated power, elegance'n composedness which few other fleets have been able to match and none, trump.

    On another note...
I'd appreciate if the Casimiri refits and seperate hulls were to be included among the CNS's list.
As the Casimiri Tribes still considered themselves offshoots of the Calderonian State and have, until their demise.

That would be up to Two, because it is his thread. It would be interesting to see different off shots and version of our ships and how they progressed.
