- Bephinius / Per Shipyards -
That's an image of Bephinius; I don't have any of Per yet.
So, I've been building ships for a while know and finally decided to release them to the forums! I made a double shipyard, Bephinius (Blue Main Sequence) and Per (Red Dwarf). Each one builds totally different ships, which I though was rather cool. In any situation, my ships aren't incredible, but they should be able to sustain their purposes, and look almost good while doing it. So, I made this thread to show you my ramblings, failures, more failures, failures that I manage to release, and something other than failures every once in a while.
So, three notes of information -
1 - Bephinius Ships are equipped with turret docks, but not turrets. Now, before you run screaming at me, "I want turrets!" let me explain. I am a less than mediocre turret builder, so my own designs are pathetic, but I'll release them if there is popular demand. However, some people are going to want AMS turrets, some are going to want full-on attack turrets, and some want a mix of both. Therefore, it's a lot easier on both me and the end user if they don't have to remove something they don't really want.
2- Per and Bephinius are two systems in another galaxy. Bephinius makes the "standard" ships, and Per the more individualized, larger, and specialized ones. As such, the turret rule doesn't apply to Per ships, and a lot of my building designs won't either.
3 - I have a specific classification system, so that's why there are so many weird numbers and letters in front of my ships.

S - Small Ships
1 - Fighter
2 - Corvette
1 - Fighter
2 - Corvette
M - Medium Ships
1 - Frigate
2 - Destroyer
B - Subcapital Ships

3 - Just about anything larger
This is based on size and function, which can cancel each other out in some circumstances, so don't necessarily expect a frigate to be your idea of frigate-sized.
