I'm going to use this topic as a place to announce ships I'll be adding to the docks using what I'm starting to call my Mil-Corp/Corp-Security style. Once the feature has been implemented and after the upcoming server wipe, I also plan on selling these designs on the GenXNova server out of the Ares Aerospace Shipyards.
A side note, I am having way too much fun RPing a slightly over the top comically amoral corporation when I write up my ship release descriptions

[doublepost=1483696459,1483694301][/doublepost]Our engineers following the tempest project have recently been hard at work reworking our older Flammidemmia class destroyer into a much more capable platform and we are proud to announce the the upcoming launch of our new line of Spatha class Heavy Escort Destroyers!
The first ship in the line, TSS DD-3 Empyrean Lancer, just finished her shakedown cruise and will be joining our fleet in the next few days.
The new Spatha class has been improved across the board, compared to the TSS DD-2 Harvest of Fire, the TSS DD-3 Empyrean Lancer has 20% heavier armor and a superior shield system enhanced with a full power Ion Generator.
Two other important advances in defensive technologies include an Echelon Pattern Point Defense Grid mounting 23 of our brand new Twin Phalanx turrets and a triple jump core system consisting of a primary jump drive backed up by two smaller secondary drives. This new FTL system greatly increases the ability of the new Spatha class to engage and disengage from a 4 dimensional full spectrum tactical environment.
The Lancer has also been equipped with our new Armor Piercing Plasma Missiles, a light Ion Beam Long Range Anti-Shield System, and our brand new Plasma Pulse Cannon Array resulting in a 100% increase in precision firepower over the older Harvest model. Secondary batteries consist of a pair of our High Output Medium Autocannons initially developed for our Tempest Class light cruiser.
The new line of ships are designed to work together in Wolf Packs of 2-3 vessel either on their own as a system defense fleet or heavy raiding force or as supporting vessels for a capital ship in a larger engagement.

Partly due to needing a good fleet vessel with the new NPC update I just finished up the refit of The Harvest of Fire. I do believe the new class is the most capable combat ship by mass I've built so far.
With the proper tactics and a rookie pilot (myself!) she took out a dedicated PVP ship with a veteran pilot, and at 28K mass, She's also decisively crushed every single combat ship under 70k mass I have in my blueprint folder during test fights versus AI pilots.
On the flip side, three of these piloted by AI completely shredded the improved version of the Winter's Unrelenting Storm when I was piloting the much larger ship.
I plan on getting this ship onto the docks in the next day or two. I took the screenshots, but I need to upload them to Imgur, start writing up the description, and punch the numbers for my ratios. And right now it's just past 4 AM and I am very tired. So for now, I'm off to bed
