AMC firing direction BUG - v0.094731

AMC weapon blocks were set up firing forward, in the direction the ship's core is facing, with the correct blocks selected as the current output. Weapons were firing fine yesterday. Today, the weapons fire 90 degrees off line, straight down. Tried restarting the client and the server - bug remains. ?

Blue circle shows where the lasers are located.

Yellow circles show glimpses of the lasers firing straight down.

Green circle shows the botttom turret shield taking damage as the AMCs are hitting it.

Was there a hot fix of some kind? Another player on our server has the same problem. AMCs on his ship worlked fine, but today, the most recently made ships (no older than yesterday) have the firing bug where the AMCs fire straight down.

On top of that, the aiming reticle and the point where the AMCs fire doesn\'t line up anymore. The AMC impact point is above the point of aim, when before, they coincided. ?

Same here. Guns fire straight upward. For no reason.

It doesn\'t matter which direction the AMC blocks are facing; the only block where the direction matters is the weapons computer.

As Comrade mentions, it\'s the facing of the weapons computer that dictates the direction of fire, so make sure that computer is pointing forward.

Making the AMC block face to the side may look odd then, when the amc shot is fired from between the blocks xD

Yes that\'s true. If the weapons computer is facing port, then the weapon will fire to the port. However, if the output AMC block is facing down, it will still fire port but the shot will appear to come out of the bottom of the block.
