A question about Wormholes.

I am looking at the wormholes scattered about the galaxy and universe, and I am seeing some that are different colours, some are brown/gold, others are reddish. Is there any meaning to the colours?

The colors do kinda help in a way if you are trying to follow the directional arrows to another wormhole (in the map, as a reference, to see where you will go) but otherwise keptick pretty much nailed it.
