      Sadly, I don't forsee such smooth inter-entity transfer to come to Starmade for a while. For now you'll have to make do with stopping time, transitioning to an epic rainbow background and attaining a striking pose before changing your weapon.

      It's nothing fancy, just a pickup point. If you need to grab things that are currently docked you'll need an assistant to undock the thing for you. Such is Starmade.

      Quite a few versions ago I had confirmed that unmanned entities have a ~2s instead of the manned 4s cooldown to dock, regardless of undocking method. It might have changed since then but I haven't checked.

      Well, when you aim a weapon, you'd obviously want to look parallel to the output, so the computer screen rotation simulates that. Additionally, it's not really "pre-determined" in a sense of "fixed" since you can readily change the rotation of the computer when building your weapons...

      Protip: To prevent accidentally removing logic or used rails place a filled chest nearby

      You could have an override switch in the build menu or an ad hoc hotkey combination to disable the pop-up warnings, instead showing a little warning icon in a non-obtrusive part of the screen when the override is active.
