      Error when trying to connect to multiplayer

      Whenever i try to join a multiplayer server, it logs me and then disconnects me and says: ClassCastException:java.lang.String cannot be cast to java.lang.Long. I've redownloaded java several times but nothing has worked. How do i fix this?
