      My AMD Phenom/nVidia GTX 660 TI/8 gigs RAM is capable of running the game at well over 400 FPS even around large ships. Core usage is ~25% at the most but usually around~ 20% for normal everyday stuff.

      I think AI using the beam things are in the works. Would be a great thing to have Dave and friends do so that it is not super abusable. But maybe beams should be optimized a bit, along with removing blocks in mass amounts (large salvagers).

      I core drilled it and then towed it back to my station where I salvaged or refitted it. Unless it was server laggingly big. Then I just destroy those and run some salvage beams over the valuable looking parts.
