As some of you have probably noticed already, the video review has still not arrived.
Unfortunately this is due to our working lives interfering with our social life, which has greatly limited the time we are able to devote to Starmade. The team barely even interact with each other any more ;-...
Aaaand that's it! Submissions are now closed, and we will start evaluating the entries during this week.
Due to the size of the entries, the review video will take some time to put together.
Given a change in my current situation, this makes sense for me as well.
Therefore, as of today, the deadline is being extended by a week; the new deadline will be on the 4th of September at 23:59/11:59pm UTC+1.
The OP has also been updated with the new deadline.
We have realised that several contestants in this Build Initiative are struggling to finish their entries. Due to this, we have taken the unprecedented step of relaxing the rules for this Build Initiative and allowing unfinished entries.
If your build is mostly complete please continue to...
Having discussed this with the two other judges, we have come to the decision that shootout rails and the related "nonphysical" rail blocks do count towards the dimension limits.

anyway, as much as I would love for our competitions to be held to the same standard as the official ones, the fact remains that this is a player-driven initiative, and Schine has no obligation to include our stuff from player-driven initiatives like this in the finished game. plus I'm...
The video is coming along nicely now I blame Plaz for it going slowly ))))

Sorry about the wait! We've had a combination of technical issues with the recordings, and scheduling issues preventing all of us from being in the same VC for too long to do the recordings.
