A large warp gate built using assets from my shipyard, 200m internal diameter and a double door to prevent unauthorized access.
As always, there's unfinished bits and a few things that could use some polish... The station has an experimental gravity lift. With the lift I had to make a choice...
Currently all turret weapons, nothing on the hull. Coverage forward is pretty good.. ;)
Thanks. Still enjoying myself building stuff, welcome to drop in say hi & get some motivation if you feel like it. :)
Refit for QF and mostly finished, a few RP rooms and a little polish still required but she's functional and ready for space trials.
EDIT: To use the main lift, enter the floor letter/number, eg 1, 2, A1, B1 etc, combo into the screen and push the button. (Must be capital letter.)
It's all functional and pretty much ready to go. There are a couple of RP rooms that are empty and I've been waiting on inspiration/motivation to get in and finish them, other then that I've had issues with the lift logic, which relies on displays, not saving properly, at least it didn't last...
I haven't tested on stations but I assume it'd add the same load on either type of entity. The easiest way to test it is to go to a an empty sector group, (all 3x3 sectors around you empty,) and place a Repulsor on a core/station while looking at the Network Statistics HUD window.
I've seen something similar to what you describe though it's certainly not an 'all the time' event. For me it happens most often when warping or using admin teleport into an unloaded sector. The smoothing of the camera goes to hell and it's as if the camera is rapidly moving between fixed points...
Refitted for QF, the Heavy Miner has the same salvager as previously but that's about it.
Complete overhaul of RP areas and comsetics, new crew lift to cargo bay, dock & cargo logic and turret and beam upgrades.
