An easy way to copy/paste is simply to use some blocks (I use yellow/black hazzard) to indicate the size of the object that needs to be copied then I simply figure out where I want it to be and "calculate" where I need to put a block to aim at when I paste. You might need to copy/paste smaller...

you could simply start by building it on one entity with the advanced build menu mirror thingies(symmetry) then copy paste your work onto separate entities

Elaborate this please. How would it work exactly? Does the dock shoot the beam? Does the beam just need to hit the ship or does it need to hit a specific block? and so on....

if you happen to have yet another pirate station spawn too close to the staring point you could use the /destroy_entity_dock command to get rid of it

so I drew some more stuff for that assignment/commission thingie majig. Made some character clothing design. And a mask thingie for the character. Now I just hope I have enough potential to get in on that art school :P
