Personally, I think that tiny explosion is the from the cannon shot, not the missile. The new missile thing is in the Dev build now btw, Crusade has been testing and sampling it for chat.

Every other days seems about right. If you go everyday people might burn out on it, and every other week is too long a gap, meaning people will forget/lose interest, or do daily races themselves and burn themselves out.
