You currently cant really repair the armour on a station. If the server is set to allow it, create a 2nd station inside the main one, and use the shop of that to repair the armour. I've mentioned this to 2 people with this problem, and I havent heard back from them, so I think it works.

It's true, effects only modify the damage dealt to ships, effect on players is unchanged. Kinda annoying, but it prevents spamming Missile/Missile/Push on a clock to keep players out of their ships.
