      I think its possible that the change is to switch focus from large ships to smaller ships? Not a bad idea really, it would help servers a lot. Yet people always wanted a carrier, a mobile base to keep their ships safe. Perhaps linking power and sheilds would be a good idea, and extra emiters...

      spawn camping should be protected by 2,2,2 protection. Then... all you have to do is get in a tiny ship and run. Building in spawn is the dumb way to play.

      here is a thrown together chart of how sheilds expand now from 1 to 1000 blocks. we can see that low numbers of sheilds have relitivly high capacity and regen at least 4 times what they used to have.       I got them to work by attaching Faction cores to the turrets and my ship. Not sure why I couldnt get them to work prior to that.

      at 1.2km long this ship could be in 2 sectors at 1 time... um wont that cause issues during travel as you change SOI? or dose the chaneg only effect the ship core? Basically it looks like it would be a bad idea to leave your ship... a sector may swing by and pick it up and take if for a ride.

      did you need to add a faction core to each turret or just the ship? I also am unable to get the damn things working on my ship. Confirmed, each turret needs a Faction core and the ship part of a faction, to work correctly.
