I guess that you could design a ship to upload to the website for others to see. I would recommend making it aesthetically pleasing as well as functional if you do.
No offense, but does anyone read the second note at the top? It says that you should use the description as a priority, and the mass is just a general guideline. Read the notes, people. (No offense to those that did)
I think you need the material because it\'s harder. Credits are far too easy to get, and one good recipe bought with credits could make lots of credits in manufacturing. Ok, a lot of recipes are crap, but once that\'s changed I support using materials to buy recipes.
I hate having to manually lock on every time just for a reliable hit, and dumbfire missiles are only good for anti-capital if you aren\'t moving very much. Just please learn how to ccapitalize correctly, your posts hurt my eyes.
They would need balancing, like only attracting, say, 5-10% of missiles, effect increases, with diminishing returns, when grouped? Oh, and, you\'re hurting my eyes!!! Please learn how to capitalize the English language.
These are the general rules I classify my ships with. If you disagree with them, well, there's other classification threads. Bold represents a class. Italic represents sub-classes, which are a different verson of the previous class. These are not official in any way, and you don't have to use...
I just wanted ships to be diverse, not \"Fill everything with shields and AMC!\" If I did go a little overboard, well, I REALLY want more weapons. At least some weapons like strong vs. this and weak vs. that. That, and huge ships that are armed with minigun-like-cannons seem a bit rediculous...
It\'s kinda OP. A core with a thruster, power block, and that setup could kill a battlecruiser easily. Essentially a really expensive torpedo. I just think that something like that would make tiny-magic-torpedo-things the best ship there is.
Someone could make a ship with a dark/invisible texture pack for permanent \"cloaking,\" Or disguise weapons as hulls, as well as make the core look like a hull. Unless there were set texturepacks.
To me, a repair bay would be more of a dock than a module of a ship. If a ship docks, it is repaired. Undocking stops repairs. As for missiles, they are only deadly to small ships if they have less than 3000 shields, IMO. Smaller ships can avoid AMC blast fairly easily, thus missiles being a...
