This is an excellent proposal, and makes a lot of sense too.
No longer would people crash land into planets with max speed, or bump eachother all the way out of spawn, because of the damage risk that comes with it.
Some fantastic news, we managed to get auto-restarts working for most common crashes!
So down-times should no longer be a huge issue, at least not so often anymore.
The rare type of crash where the server simply keeps hanging still needs a solution, but it\'s not frequent at all.
Big problem in our case is that we don\'t have a single java process running, for example we are hosting a minecraft server too.
If we would check the java proces, it would remain on even if the server has crashed.
If we would force close it, it would affect everything else as well.
This...
Updates on this? Does it work?
EDIT: I found the solution.
If you go to the Admin tab in the catalog panel, and click a ships design, you will see the permissions button.
Clicking it will show 4 check boxes, the 4th being the one that states if enemies can use it or not.
Really easier...
So what, add seperate buy/sell prices, problem number two solved without writing a 2 page story.
Besides, you can already cut on loot from pirates, and you can edit the blockconfig to make treasure like (for example) cactus and glass worth less, though a buy/sell price would be much more...
This is kinda what I thought, everything planetminecraft does is also easy to achieve with a forum, look at minecraftforums.net for example, I honestly prefer browsing on there than browsing on PMC.
Why such a long and boring discussion about catalog if the fix is so utterly simple?
Add a multiplier to server.cfg that allows you to adjust by how much a blueprint\'s total worth in blocks will be multiplied.
This will ensure that people preferably don\'t spawn ships for parts and it will...
It is down, it will be down for quite a while longer if the auto-restarts weren\'t added yet.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
I've seen this suggestion before in the larger threads, but I want to mention it separately, as it is a crucial feature to maintain a healthy server economy.
Example: It makes no sense to find 500 faction modules in a loot chest and be able to sell all of them for 100k, and lowering the price...
This is a great solution too, would love it if shops had docks anyway, or if we could simply customize shop schematics by ourself.
However, docking introduces some trouble with building (sometimes you cannot build because the structure you\'re docked at is blocking you from placing blocks).
People entering spawn on our server usually start building their ships right away. There are always a few of those folks with larger ships that come in and bump these players out of the spawn section into outer space, salvaging their ships afterwards.
I figured that a cool way to prevent this...
Yeah, pretty unfortunate.
We have to wait till the host (Azza) sees it and restarts the server, this can take a few hours.
We\'ll soon be running an auto-restart script that\'ll ensure that the server will restart on its own, based on a schedule though. It is currently not possible to detect...
