well,you can place disintegrators ,and link them with logic,and with 20-30 delay blocks :P that would work fine. But i agree,it would be cool to have more realistic one

reinstal,and turn off oclusion culling in settings.cfg before you play. oclusion culling is responsible for 99% of this type of crashes (each time there is a new version,you have to turn it off again)
