Uh, that would be a subspace tear similar to Species 8472's realm. This would require a lot of work and would be against starmade's mantra of no loading screens after the first one.
I agree to this, morale is an important part of a human lifestyle. The crews we hire are HUMANS, not cylons, so it would make sense that this would be a thing.
Hyperspace is just accelerated speed, jump drive is point a-b almost instantly. Hyperspace would be able to be followed, but as long as jump drive is long enough range you jump away scott free.
Jump drives should have a cooldown, but not ridiculously long. In BSG, the FTL drive needed a small cooldown, but you could still jump in and then out. If you don't want a jump and run, have an jump drive blocker on your ship and trap them.
I agree with all of these, starmade desperately needs new sounds. It's just unplayable without youtube or skype in the background, I can't stand the silence.
I have no experience with ubuntu, so unfortunately I am unable to think of anything else. I'd say delete the whole dang thing and re download the launcher and try again.
That does work, but it's a pain to exit my ship, go to each turret, enter, reset, reset bobby AI, move to next turret... after every battle or detection. I have a LOT of turrets.
I know it's /Possible/ but what I'm suggesting is a feature that does it automatically, that after X amount of time without an enemy contact the turrets (anything on a turret axis, regardless of if it has a bobby module) resets to its start position or a more streamlined way to do this. but keep...
which makes hidden turrets dang near impossible for bases if you make it a form fitting base, that has just enough room for the turret and rail in it's default position instead of a giant hole in the ground for your turret.
Dangit, I have to concede that you're right. Docked reactors are somewhat fixed now. Just dock them and use logic clocks to trigger a power drain computer and suck power from your docked reactor ship. That'll give you a boost in power.
