      Did you save the ship to the catalog? If so just buy the blueprint of it again. Also, if I remember correctly, there is no such federation ship as the \"USS Sunderland\" There is however the \"USS Sutherland\"

      The select target AI option does not work very well currently. It will not change targets when you select a different target. It continues firing at the old target. Your turret is probably out of range of the enemy ships. That\'s why it can\'t fire. Set your AI option to target Any.

      take hours to ... break it down and buy a new one it does not take hours to break down a ship and buy a new version of it. I can break mine down in 10 seconds. its easy. use advanced build mode. just save your ships to the catalog and rebuy the blueprint. problem solved

      The problem with this is that the way missiles currently work, heatseekers are only really useful in combat if you take advantage of their initial speed burst before they start homing. this would negate that advantage unless your target is above you.

      This removes just about any element of strategy to combat On the contrary, it does not remove the element of strategy but the element of caution. Players can rush into combat knowing they have little to lose, because they can simply just go buy the ship design again.

      Otherwise you would have massive banks of salvage beams on capital ships, with nearby AMC cannons to take down shields - then switch to salvage and rip a huge hole in the side of a ship. Ambiguous statement. You cannot do this in StarMade. You have to overheat the core first, then salvage.
