Starmade is a voxel game that uses different planes(made by shipcores) with cordinate grids to detect where blocks are. Minecraft is a single plane that uses a cordinate grid to remember where blocks are. Every entity from dirt to chickens have reletive xyz cordinates in the game. They both use...
Just off the top of my head I thought it wouldn't look bad if you made the back slant into a trapizoid, but considering the scale, I think that would interfere with the rest of the ship. Try making the two big white areas into main engines(The side ones sorta look like boosters combined with...
Don't forget indented turrets! Make the base really deep and extend far into the hull(this is for larger ships), give it a bunch of shielding and power. Lets the barrel be pure weapons.
Hmm... Check:
Power
Are they linked together properly(cannon modules to cannon computer, cannon computer to salvage computer)
Is the darn salvage computer pointed in the right direction? It happens so many times that I place a salvage computer the wrong way and get mad over not being able to see...
I'm not giving up on this. It works. Just double all the storage values because storages have a tick rate a lot slower than factories. Takes a bit of effort too.
[Edit] Do I have to call this a bump? I had to change the instructions.
Put it in a shipyard design.
This is the fighter effect in a lot of games. Fighters are often more efficent but they die more often and therefore cost more. You can see this in games like Homeworld, where most ships can be repaired easially, but fighters and bombers often die first. Starmade...
+1 to the factory. I think if you could make a crystal catalyst early ingame then you could save a lot of time trying to figure out how to get "frekeeteen" capsules because you don't get how asteroids spawn. The alternate recipies I think would just be confusing.
It might not even add a new...
I swear, you must have gotten that idea tthe same way I did. I thought exactly the same thing about that time, you're actually in the thread to!
This was my idea:
Everyone ignored it, the thread continued on, it didn't get discussed. Now someones made that rough idea into a thread! Thank you...
What is the sit key? I thought it was left clicking on a edge of a block. It never worked but I thought it must be bugged or I wasn't hitting the right area.
Ok, yea, the problem is the popup screen. For some reason I'm not getting it sometimes. I must have messed with the configs to set the limit. If you set the speed that the popup will show, you can prevent the popup from happeneing. I set mine around a hundred I think.
You. Are. Saying. That a gameplay mechanic for that single problem. Is a work around. Nvm.
If you are bad at aiming, just
Fill your hotbar or whatever.
+1
Doesn't this happen sort of with worm holes? You go really really fast, and don't load much suff in, this might be because it gets outof your render distance to fast, but it's really hard to get out of.
Isn't that the point of stealth ships? However, he still would need to exit to use the torch gun, and warheads currently are really weak(unless that server has better warhead configs?) it must have been incomplete, because otherwise small arms would be useless. Anything not totally done(or at...
Ow! Talk about a slap to the pride! Actually, that sounds nice: Nickizzy, Serverkiller:D
You are actually right, limiting HB size and not allowing turrets would be much better. (Make it not as strong as a normal station or just a place that you have as a backup or startup).
Then there is...
If this turns into an argument someone stop me.
As long as they didn't just put all of everything they own into one base, they should just lose tons of stuff. It in itself solves the "single base" problem. By removing invincibility you create the need for escape gates and backup stations. Even...
