I wonder which would be better? Having an area of effect that it mines, or simply a limit on how big of an object you can salavage. Maybe if the entity is larger than a set value then it mines in 16 block...
An idea to set a fleet comand option for ships to "self distruct" by overheating. The overheat time would be about twice as long, so boarders could cancel the overheat or you could go out and salvage all your drones to replace them. Works extremely well with Slavage beam vein mining..

Depends on the server. One annoying server made planets uninhabitable because they made the day 2 seconds long. Odds are they turned rotation off. Just set a timer for an hour or two and work on something in the house, then check for a difference.

Pretty simple. When you select the cargo button(I think it's by the creative button) in your inventory when you're within a sector(?) you get the storage as your inventory. Useful for building and expanding your 2k inventory limit.

It's something that could be used by more experienced players that beginers don't need to use. Hide it somewhere in the Adv factory if you want. It decomplicates the factory system a bit after a while actually.
Yes, if you want targeted fleet swarms for antipoint defense I would suggest a bunch of 1 block missile beam combos. Not bad damage either.
For shields just use something like beam pulse ion. It's insane how much alpha damage you can do with it.
