I think it would be best to display the strategic map either as a "real" buildmode-like view, or if you zoom in on the galaxy map enough, you can see all the ships under your command and issue orders that way. I also like how it ties in nicely with planned NPC updates.

It's okay. The weapon seems to be quite similar to the railgun of my Blizzard... I've had something really simmilar planned for the Megantereon, but I guess that would be considered copying.

Current dimentions are at 1200m length, 479m width and at about 100m height (on the frontal part which is lower)
