I have been trying out the latest dev build, but large segments of my ship have been appearing invisible. Also, when I start the game I get a message saying: The texture pack you have chosen is depreciated and might have some missing textures.
Is there any way I can fix this?
It would be neat if some of the planets had a faction purpose to them.
A pirate world could be a platform for spawning lots of enemy ships. Like a pirate base, but much worse, and more rewarding should you conquer it.

I've been playing around with large ships, but the slow turn rate is a real bummer. Is there a file I can adjust to make the turning system a bit more forgiving?
I have been trying to fully equip a ship with large turrets (http://star-made.org/node/11185). I made sure that each docking area was big enough, yet every time I load the game one or more turrets randomly fall off. This has never happened to me vefore with any other ship or turret.

When a player's ship core is destroyed it should merely boot the player out of the driver's seat, not kill him/her. That way if the victor is so inclined, they can just let their opponent get to an escape pod and flee. This would be really cool for larger ships, it would force players to race...
Having one block that ends all combat is just silly. It takes space combat and reduces it to just pointing your nose at the enemy and tunneling untill someone dies. There is pretty much no reason to manuver.
I have been trying to use commands to spawn a ship too expencive for the money limit. But I haven't been able to get it to spawn.
I was using: "/load UNSC_Spirit_of_fire_INTERIOR_GOLD_STATUS_142458" with and without numbers at the end, but to no avail.

I'm trying to build a ship where the top of the ship acts as the front (like in a rocketship). So I placed a camera on the top facing up. However when i'm looking through that camera, I can move the ship, but I can't maneuver. Is it suppossed to be like this?

I have been getting issues too around large ships. For me I get laggy performance and display driver failures, as well as other random game behaviour. I just assumed that is was because my computer parts are several years old, but perhaps the fault lies...
So when building a ship in starmade, you will have to strictly conform to the few limited forms that are proven to work. Otherwise, you will have a practically useless but pretty ship. So much for creativity, or freedom of design.
We definately need something to improve the turning speed of larger ships, especially with the new update. They don\'t have to turn on a dime, but they also shouldn\'t have to take several minutes just to turn. Manuvering becomes impossible in that case.
