From what I heard, which was corroborated by three other people, was that they went into site chat and start spamming/flooding chat. When someone told them to stop they responded with "rules don't apply to us xD" or something of that nature and kept going. Mods got on but it still didn't stop...

I've heard rumors of an incident in chat where said higher-ups flouted their "immunity" to the rules and the mods present basically didn't do anything about it, but I wasn't there personally so I didn't comment on it. However I've heard about it through MULTIPLE people.

Normally I'd agree with you OP but equality =! equal results, equality = equal opportunity. That said, I'm not a very big fan of MF myself. IMO this would be like activision contracting out trailers from Faze Clan. My experience has shown them to pretend to be friendly and open to outiders...

Isanths are also pretty outdated at this point as well. If players got a starter ship, instead of just spawning in space with materials, I feel like it'd be a lot more effective.

I'm pretty sure this is a mistake on the part of the devs but there are no recipes with which you can manufacture scanner blocks and scanner computers. The only way to acquire them in game is through shops, making it difficult to get a good supply of radar blocks early game.
